Patoune

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

In short: your cats and their trimming history stay on your phone; we run no server and receive none of it. The free version shows banner ads from Google AdMob, which receives device data to serve them. Removing ads is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play.

Who we are

Patoune is a claw-care tracker for cat owners, made by Nathan de Castro ("we"). Contact: contact@coldsnap.fr.

What stays on your device

Your cats' names, their coat and colours, your drawings, which claws you trimmed and when, your language and your ad-free status are stored only in the app's storage on your device. We do not collect them and they are never sent to us. There is no account.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Unless you remove ads, Patoune shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google collects data from your device, such as the advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions. Google processes it under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Removing ads (in-app purchase)

A one-time purchase removes ads on your device. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play under its own terms; we never see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation of the purchase and stores your ad-free status locally. An unlock code, if you have one, is checked on your device.

What we do not do

Deleting your data

Use "Reset paws" or remove a cat in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything from your device. For data held by Google for advertising, use your Google account and device settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct or delete personal data and object to its processing. Since we hold none, contact Google for advertising data, or write to contact@coldsnap.fr and we will help. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Children

Patoune is intended for adult cat owners and is not directed at children under 13.
